About Patrick Abotsi

My name is Patrick K. Abotsi and I am a Togolese entrepreneur based in Hong Kong. I have lived in Asia since 1998 and have been involved in accounting, business consulting, information technology and import-export businesses mostly in China.

I have always been interested in entrepreneurship and basically went into business just after finishing my Master degree at Fudan University, China. I strongly believeĀ that the way to eradicate poverty and set upon a path of sustainable growth in Africa is through entrepreneurship, not aid. Through this blog, I will share my humble insights to younger African small business owners and entrepreneurs to help them launch and scale their businesses.

I also review from time to time online and traditional startupsĀ in Africa to uncover how they are changing their environment through innovation. I encourage startup owners and other entrepreneurs to contact me if they want me to write a post about their company on this blog.

To learn more about my project or simply contact me, please email to ask @ africanentrepreneur.com; you can follow also me on Twitter @KodjoAbotsi

    Thanks in advance,
