PROMOTING GROWTH IN AFRICA THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT
The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) on the 4th evening of August 2011 was the home for investors, economists and top business executives as the Ambassador of Japan and his entourage engaged delegates in solidifying bi-lateral relationships between both countries and investment in the African continent.
Few years ago aid and poverty was the main focus in Africa, today it is investment and economic development, says Toshiro Ozawa- Japan’s Ambassador to South Africa. Among other attendees were Michael Spicer CEO Business Leadership South Africa, Moeletsi Mbeki Executive Chairman of Endemol and brother to the former president of South Africa, Dr Azar Jammine Director and Chief Economist at Econometrix (PTY) LTD.
