iGrow Academy, online training from South Africa

Sep 13, 2015 | | 1 comment

iGrow Academy is a South African startup providing online training and education services. There are currently over 1,000 students using iGrow online platform taking courses from psychology to digital marketing.

The company has recently opened a branch in Toronto, with US expansion in the works.

iGrow seems to focus more on short-term courses for skills development. Online learning is a big trend internationally with the like of Lynda.com (recently acquired by LinkedIN), Coursera etc. If iGrow Academy can attract sufficient funding and diversify/expand its offering, I certainly would be very optimistic about this startup and would not be surprised to see them play among the big players.

iGrow Academy website can be accessed from here.
